The Van Orts decided to venture to Thailand to visit Tyler Charles, our son/nephew/cousin, who has lived in Bangkok for over a decade. Tyler and his wife, Fawn, showed us around the city, then joined us for some island hopping and a New Year's celebration. We rounded out the trip by touring an elephant sanctuary in Hua Hin.
Bangkok
We spent our time in Bangkok walking through markets and parks, visiting wats, and tasting the food.
Koh Kood
We stayed in Koh Kood for a few days, where we relaxed on the beach and celebrated New Year's.
Hua Hin
In Hua Hin, we visited Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand to learn about some of the animals that they had rescued.
